What's Happening at Temple Zion Baptist Church?

All men are invited to join “The Gathering", Saturday May 16, 2026 in the Fellowhip Hall, 10:00am - 12:00pm. Come join us, where you will be fed both spiritually and physically. Enjoy a delicious breakfast. 

You're invited to Christian Life & Christian Living classes next Sunday, May17th and Sunday, May 31st. Classes are held every 3rd and 5th Sunday of the month.  The Connect will also be in session for children during this time. Come out and discuss biblical solutions and practical applications for daily living. Let's learn, share and strengthen our walk together. 

The ministry of “A Voice For Christ” is preparing to launch our church podcast, and we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a Podcast Host from within our congregation. This is a meaningful opportunity to be part of a growing ministry outreach that will help carry the message of Christ beyond the church walls. Delta Eta Chapter Inc, is sponsoring a Life Skills Academy Summer Camp for Girls focusing on improving physical and mental health, confidence and developing essential skills for a successful life.  Registration is open now thru June 30th. Dates for Girls aged 10-13 are July 20th & 21st and July 22nd - 24th for Girls aged 14-18. Please scan the QR code or see Dr. Sheila Belton-Gaymon for additional information. 

Celebrate Recovery will meet Mondays at 6pm. Join us  for help to begin healing from the hurts, hang‑ups, and habits that may be holding you back. Sessions will be held every Monday at 6pm. 

Volunteers are needed for childcare during Celebrate Recovery Monday nights from 6pm - 8:30pm. If you can volunteer your time, please see Pastor Melvin.
