What's Happening at Temple Zion Baptist Church?

Temple Zion, we’re excited to remind you about Temple Builders, our ministry for young men ages 8–21. This is a space where they can grow, connect, and be encouraged in faith and character. We meet Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:00 PM right here at the church. Our young men enjoy: Building strong relationships, Serving our community, Growing in faith and character, Fun activities and fellowship. Women's Ministry:

Women and Young Ladies' Paint by Number Fellowship. We will meet on Friday, July 31, at 6:00 p.m, for a time of fellowship. You are welcome whether or not you want to participate in painting. Please see your email for the painting choices which may purchase the one you want yourself, or you can send me the money to purchase it for you. Be on the lookout for a sign-up for refreshments.

Celebrate Recovery is in session on Mondays at 6pm, if you are looking for help to begin healing from the hurts, hang‑ups, and habits that may be holding you back, Refreshments are served and childcare is provided.

Calling All Shamrock Alumni and TZBC Members! It’s that time of year again — school begins August 6, 2026, and we want to help our young adults start the year feeling cared for and confident. Beginning this week, we will collect donations of personal care products to support students who may not have access to these essentials at home. Items needed include: Soap & Body Wash,Toothpaste, Toothbrush, & Mouthwash, Deodorant, Lotion, Vaseline, Cocoa Butter, and Feminine Care Products. A donation bin is in the vestibule to collect your contributions. Thank you in advance for your generosity and continued support — together, we can make a difference in the lives of our youth! NMCO invites you to register for our next monthly workshop, August 1, 2026, 10am - 12pm. Your Wellness Formula will be presented by Dr. Sheila Belton-Gaymon. Please scan the QR code or via the sign-up sheet in the vestibule.

Everyone is invited to this year's Crane Creek Community Festival which will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026, 11am - 3pm at Forest Heights Elementary School. This event is sponsored in partnership with NMCO, Bookert Heights, Crane Forest, Haskell Heights, Hollywood Hills, Lincolnshire, Pine Forest and Starks Terrace. There will be free food, clothing giveaway, horse rides, train rides, BINGO with prizes, concessions, entertainment, school supplies and fresh fruits and vegetables given away.
