What's Happening at Temple Zion Baptist Church?

Temple Zion new TShirts are available for order beginning today through August 15th, for availability this 5th Sunday. Colors available are white, gray, light blue, pink and lavender. Sizes are available for youth and adults. The cost starts at $15 for youth, $20 for adult sizes S-XL and $23-$26 for larger sizes.  You're Invited to join The Christian Drama Club!Do you enjoy acting, storytelling, improvisation, or working behind the scenes? The Christian Drama Club is a great place to have fun while serving the Lord and assisting the community. Whether you're an experienced performer or trying it for the first time, everyone is welcome!  The Christian Drama Club's first meeting of the season is Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall.   See Beverly Singleton for additional details. 

Calling All Shamrock Alumni and TZBC Members! It’s that time of year again — school begins August 6, 2026, and we want to help our young adults start the year feeling cared for and confident. Beginning this week, we will collect donations of personal care products to support students who may not have access to these essentials at home. Items needed include: Soap & Body Wash,Toothpaste, Toothbrush, & Mouthwash, Deodorant, Lotion, Vaseline, Cocoa Butter, and Feminine Care Products. A donation bin is in the vestibule to collect your contributions. Thank you in advance for your generosity and continued support — together, we can make a difference in the lives of our youth! Everyone is invited to this year's Crane Creek Community Festival which will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026, 11am - 3pm at Forest Heights Elementary School. This event is sponsored in partnership with NMCO, Bookert Heights, Crane Forest, Haskell Heights, Hollywood Hills, Lincolnshire, Pine Forest and Starks Terrace. There will be free food, clothing giveaway, horse rides, train rides, BINGO with prizes, concessions, entertainment, school supplies and fresh fruits and vegetables given away.

Volunteers are needed and there will be a meeting for all volunteers, Wednesday, August 12th at 6:30pm. Clothes GiveawayIt is time to declutter your clothes! In preparation for the Crane Creek Community Festival, we will be collecting clothes on Friday, August 14, in the J.T. Montgomery Fellowship Hall from 10:00-1:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. Please separate clothes by gender and separate tops and bottoms. Shoes and other accessories, as well as small household items, are welcome. If you have any questions, please get in touch with Sis. Melvin. 

We will cruise on the Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, and Turks and Caicos, March 31-April 5, 2028. Cabin deposits are due no later than August 24, 2026 and final payment due January 2, 2026.
